Letter from VA Health Commissioner - H1N1 now

The Virginia Department of Health would like the business community to be aware that the novel H1N1 influenza vaccine is now available to all Virginians who want to be vaccinated. Please see the attached letter from State Health Commissioner, Karen Remley, MD, MBA, FAAP.

Beach Vitex Temporary Quarantine

VDACS has established a quarantine which prohibits the movement of Beach vitex. This quarantine is effective October 26, 2009. The quarantine prohibits the movement of Beach vitex or any soil, sand, or mulch which contains Beach vitex within or from the counties of Accomack and Northampton on the Eastern Shore and the cities of Norfolk and Virginia Beach.  Click here for details
