Beach Vitex Temporary
Quarantine
VDACS has established
a quarantine which prohibits the movement of
Beach vitex. This quarantine is effective
October 26, 2009. The quarantine prohibits the
movement of Beach vitex or any soil, sand, or
mulch which contains Beach vitex within or
from the counties of Accomack and Northampton on
the Eastern Shore and the cities of Norfolk and
Virginia Beach.
